Ceremonial Cacao
We predominantly work with 100% raw ceremonial cacao paste from Central and South America.
Ceremonial cacao is a minimally processed, nutrient-dense superfood that still has all its fat content.
The fats contain most of cacao's health-promoting compounds such as flavanols, which enhance cognitive performance, and tryptophan, which stimulates serotonin production.
Similar to specialty coffee, cacao exhibits distinct characteristics based on its growing region. This regional specificity makes our cacao "single origin," meaning we use beans (cacao mass) exclusively from one particular area in production.
The result is a range of detailed and nuanced flavor profiles. These are crafted by cacao farmers who often employ centuries-old techniques, passed down through generations.
Direct Trade is better than Fair Trade
Direct trade means we buy straight from cacao farmers, cutting out middlemen, making the supply chain simpler and more transparent.
This approach goes beyond just buying and selling. It's about building fair relationships with farmers and help them grow financially stable.

Research Chocolates
We utilise chocolate as a medium that allows for the preservation of a variety of “magical” compounds. In The Netherlands (and selected EU countries) there are a wide variety of “magical” compounds that are legal to conduct research with.
These chocolates are meant for research purposes. For more information around this kind of research we welcome you to our private group (scroll down for more information).
